Yesterday, God threw us in a pleasant surprise. We got a new pet, or should i say a new friend. A bird suddenly appeared in our front door, I guess it fell from its nest cause it was a baby bird. Injured from the fall, now it can’t fly. Whats amazing was that there were 3 other birds thats constantly made noise and i guess they’re the family looking for it. They communicated and in a little while, Monique and Sab saw them already bringing food to feed the little one.
As this may not interest many people, I immediately thought of the verse from Matthew 6:25 “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
As unintelligent birds may seem, we may even wonder if they have emotions — this has just reminded me that Parents normally love and care for their children, even risk their life for them. A parent who doesn’t is worse than a bird. If birds and humans can love this way, what more our heavenly father.
We’ve been problematic about our collections that past month and our tanks been dry. Jesus is reminding us not to worry cause he will provide.
